DPI (Dots Per Inch) represents how many raw sensor counts your mouse reports per linear inch of physical travel on your mousepad. Many budget sensors suffer from DPI Deviationโ€”where a mouse configured to 800 DPI might actually read at 740 DPI or 860 DPI due to lens height, mouse skate thickness, or sensor firmware tuning.

Diagnosing Scroll Wheel Bounce
